Man stabbed in Mount Annan

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the stabbing of a Mount Annan man, 40, on Sunday morning. Emergency services were called to a home on O’Brien Road, Mount Annan about 12.30am to find a man suffering from multiple, but on-life threatening stab wounds. Initial investigations suggest the victim tried to break up a fight in the street. The victim was taken to Liverpool Hospital and anyone with information is urged to contact Camden police on 4632 4499 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Charges over Mount Annan armed break and enter

Police have charged a 28-year-old man in relation to an alleged aggravated break and enter at a Mount Annan home on November 11. The police said the man, accompanied by a Macquarie Fields woman, 26, broke into the home and threatened the inhabitants with knives before stealing mobile phones, a television, a trail bike and leaving in the family’s car. The man was charged at Silverwater Correctional Centre with aggravated break and enter, committing a serious indictable offence and driving charges and will face Campbelltown Court, as will the Macquarie Fields woman, today.

Cannabis caution

A Harrington Park man, 21, has been given a cannabis caution after police allegedly found one gram of cannabis in his car. Police stopped and searched the car about 4.25pm on January 20 while they were patrolling Sir Warwick Fairfax Reserve, Harrington Park.

Man charged with driving offences

A Camden South man, 41, will appear in Picton Court next month to face three driving charges. The police said they tried to stop the man on Peter Avenue, Camden South about 3.30pm on Thursday but he evaded a pursuit and they later arrested him at a Camden South home. He was charged with driving on a dividing strip, a second offence of driving a motor vehicle while disqualified and not obeying the direction of the police. He will face Court on February 24.
